"Oops! The payment cannot be processed because no payment source is available."
And that is so annoying, I know.
When I got that message I messaged PayPal and GCash but both of them tried to solve it but none of it worked. But after long days of finding a solution, a finally found it.
So this is what I did.
I actually have USD as my primary currency and then I added PHP currency and converted my USD funds into PHP. After that I made PHP as my primary currency and closed my USD currency. Then I cashed in Gcash using PayPal with this and ta-da! It's done and it's awesome. Problem was solved!
P. S. If you still have that error message after doing this one, kindly check the version of your GCash app. If it needs to be updated, update it. Okay?

ReplyDeleteI tried transferring $2 from PP to GCash and it was successful. Then, I tried to transfer about $100 but got the "Oops" msg. I did the conversion of usd to php and closed the usd currency yet it still gives me the "Oops" msg :(

Hello, Ronald. I'm sorry for the delayed response. Try converting your USD balance to PHP and delete your USD currency in your PayPal. If this does not work, try cashing in little by little instead of putting all the amount at the same time. Thanks! If you still have questions, I will be willing to help :))
DeleteThanks for the suggested workaround. Worked for me by making my PHP currency as "primary", then converting some USD amount to PHP to be cashed-in with the Gcash app, but I didn't have to close my USD Currency.

ReplyDeleteHello. Try ro cancel your pre-approved payments on GCash. Follow these steps:
DeleteFirst is we need to cancel all existing pre-approval key on your PayPal account to GCash. Here’s how to cancel a preapproved payment key:
Go to www.paypal.com/ and log in to your account.
Click the Settings icon next to "Log out."
Click the Payments tab.
Click Manage pre-approved payments.
Use the filter to select the seller whose agreement you want to cancel and click Cancel.
Click Cancel Profile to confirm your request.
After doing these steps. Use your phone and follow these procedures:
Go to your Device Settings or Phone settings.
Go and select "Apps".
Choose "Show System Apps".
Look for "Android System WebView" and please kindly disable it.
Then, go back to your "GCash app".
Follow the linking process. Make sure you reach the confirmation page to ensure successful linking.

ReplyDeleteActually, this suppose to be my second time of transfering my paypal balance to my gcash, but on my second time of transferring, this error always appear unlike when I transferred for the first time. My first time of transferring was fast unlike now, this error always appear.
Deleteeven if you make the peso as primary it wont work, what you have to do is convert the USD currency to peso, thats how mine works. Go to home, click currencies, then you will see the 3 dots in usd, click it then convert to php. There you go, it will now appear at GCASH. I dont know, Ive tried all suggestion here but this is how mine works. Hope this will help.

ReplyDeleteBefore I got here, I already made countless emails to gcash and PayPal. They suggested clearing my cache, uninstalling and reinstalling my gcash app, all of which didn't work of course.
